In order to provide billing services, Accurate Cash Access, LLC (“ACA”), the operator of www.easyotb.com, must collect, use, and share certain information about you, our customer. This policy explains what we collect, who we share it with, and how you can contact ACA in order to ensure the accuracy of the data we collect, use, and share. The information ACA collects from you helps ACA better interact with its clients including New York City Off-track Betting Corporation (“NYC OTB”), prevent fraud and underage wagering, and serve your needs. ACA uses secure transaction technology including secure socket layer (SSL) protocols to protect and secure your account data during the ordering process. The data that ACA collects and maintains is as follows:
Information that you provide to us
ACA receives and stores all information that you:
- Provide to our telephone operators or enter on our automated telephone response system;
- Enter on sign-up forms on our website www.easyotb.com; or
- Provide us in any manner in connection with a contest or promotion.
This information does not include security items such as Visa's CVV2, but does include:
1. Credit card information - the purpose of your transaction (e.g.: an OTB account load), your e-mail address, language preference, credit card number, expiration date, first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, country, your tax id number, password, your phone number(s), prior addresses, drivers license number, and your agreement to be bound by ACA 's terms and conditions.
2. Check payment information - the purpose of your transaction (e.g.: an OTB account load), your e-mail address, language preference, your bank's ABA routing number, your account number, the type of account, first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, country, your tax id number, password, your phone number(s), prior addresses, drivers license number, and your agreement to be bound by ACA 's terms and conditions.
Information that we automatically receive
ACA receives and stores certain information whenever you call us, download web pages, or send us e-mail or forms. For example:
1. The telephone number from which you are calling.
2. The numerical IP address assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider.
3. E-mail Correspondence: ACA often requests a confirmation when you receive and open an e-mail communication delivered by ACA. We archive all e-mail sent in and out of our network, and we identify the origination IP address of all mail sent into our network. We require that you refrain from "forging headers" or sending "SPAM".
Information from third parties
As a matter of sound business practice, ACA may request and receive information from third parties, such as credit reporting services or public record databases, and compare it to the information that you have provided. The main purpose for this is loss prevention and prevention of underage wagering.
Protection of your privacy
ACA will release data when we believe the release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Agreement, and protect the contract rights of our Clients and Customers. ACA may pass some or all of the foregoing information except for credit card numbers or bank account information to NYC OTB or other Client as to which we have processed a credit card or banking transaction on your behalf.
It is your obligation to provide ACA with accurate and up-to-date information, and failure to provide us with such information could void any Agreement between you and ACA. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as processing your account loading request, responding to customer service inquiries, loss prevention, improving our service, communicating with you, and allowing our clients to provide customer service and fulfill their obligations to you. ACA's employees have access to your information on a need-to-know basis. ACA will not sell your information to an independent third party for any reason.
In addition, ACA, as part of the credit card processing system must provide limited information to the services that connect it to the companies that perform the banking functions. The credit card associations have strict privacy rules that these companies must adhere to in order to be authorized to receive and process credit card transactions. ACA will never knowingly provide your credit card or bank account information outside of this system.
ACA protects its systems from intrusion by unauthorized individuals, and will upgrade its security when needs or threats arise. Third party contractors that may be engaged by ACA to process or store information are also required to protect against data loss and intrusion by unauthorized individuals.
ACA does not request, or knowingly collect identifiable information from children under the age of 18. ACA does not permit persons under the age of 18 to use its services. ACA does not offer children any promotions involving games, prizes, or any other activity that would induce a child to divulge personal information.
ACA reserves the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. ACA takes privacy matters very seriously, and intends to act in the best interests of its clients and customers in privacy policy and protection matters. We will occasionally update our privacy policy and we will post those updates on this page. You are responsible for revisiting this page to review our privacy policy updates.
